Becoming a Druid
This page will explain the process of becoming a Druid.
- The first step is to join the Druid guild. There is a Guild Master in selected towns around the map.
You will find one on the Vale Island starter island in a little cave past the spiders and scorpions in a room called the Star Room.
- When you join the guild you will be given a druid bag and a druid staff.
To cast a Druid spell a special rune for each spell must be in your rune bag.
You will need to train in Animal Lore skill in order to successfully cast a druid spell.
- If you don't want to join the Druid guild, you can locate Druid's Henge in the Dwarven Garden, it looks like a marble table.
Double-click the bench to make the druid bag (need 20 serpent hides) or druid staff (need 5 reaper heartwood).
Advancement without training is slow and will be capped at 60 skill however.
Creating Druid Runes
- To create Druidic runes, use your Animal Lore skill on either a Reaper or Ent Heartwood.
A menu will appear to choose which rune you want to create.
- You must pass the skillcheck to create the rune. The required ingredients need to be in your main backpack (the one on your paperdoll)
- When you have created a rune, add it to the druid bag by doubleclicking the rune, then targeting the druid bag.
The rune must be in the druid bag to cast the spell.

Casting Druid Spells
- To cast a druid spell, either open the druid bag to manually cast a rune, or say (type) the spell's power words.
- You must be holding your druid staff to cast a spell. NOTE: You must have 30 skill in staves to equip the druid staff.
NOTE: Unlike Magery and Arcane spells, you cannot move while casting a druid spell. Doing so will cancel the spell.
Morphing
A secondary skill of the Druid guild, morphing will allow you to temporarily transform into an animal.
You will be able to roam freely in hostile territory, as long as you don't take any action that will attract the monsters' attention,
such as casting a spell or attacking a monster. The duration of the transformation depends on your skill in morphing.
