Paladin Spells

Spell Name Spell Circle Tithing Points Description
Close Wounds 4 10 Heals the target for up to 60 points of damage. The caster's virtue affects the amount of damage healed.
Cleanse by Fire 4 10 If your chivalry skill is high enough, it cures the target of poisons, but causes the caster to be burned by fire damage for 13-55 hit points. The amount of fire damage is lessened if the caster has high virtue.
Remove Curse 6 10 Attempts to remove all Curse effects from Target. Curses include Mage spells such as Clumsy, Weaken, Feeblemind and Paralyze as well as all Necromancer curses. Chance of removing curse is affected by Caster's virtue
Consecrate Weapon 4 10 Temporarily enchants the weapon the target is currently wielding. The type of damage the weapon inflicts when hitting an npc will be converted to the target's worst elemental Resistance type. Duration of the effect is affected by the caster's virtue.
Sacred Journey 6 20 This is like casting recall but can use a marked rune or the runebook. Caster cannot be in warmode to cast this spell.
Divine Fury 5 10 Temporarily increases a target's chance to hit, and damage dealt, while lowering their defenses. Upon casting, the caster's Stamina is also refreshed. Duration of the spell is affected by caster's Virtue. The effect lasts for up to 50 seconds.
Dispel Evil 5 10 Attempts to dispel evil summoned creatures and cause other evil (ie red) creatures to flee from combat. Caster's Virtue effects range
Enemy of One 6 10 The selected target hit becomes the Paladin's Mortal Enemy. All melee damage dealt to that exact creature type is increased, (eg all dragon lords) but the Paladin takes extra damage from all other creature types. During this time, all of the exact creature types are highlighted in pink to help you find them and kill them fast while the spell is active.
Holy Light 5 10 Deals energy damage to all valid enemies in a radius around the Paladin. Range is affected by caster's virtue
Noble Sacrifice 6 10 Attempts to Resurrect, Cure and Heal all good targets in a radius around the Paladin. If any target is successfully assisted, the Paladin's current Hit Points, Mana and Stamina are set to 1. Amount of damage healed is affected by the Caster's virtue.

All spells need to pass the chivalry skill check.

  • You can train the Chivalry skill from the CHARACTER gump. Open the MAGIC skills page and click the button next to Chivalry.
This is a handy skill because it tells you what the monster is strong and weak against, and tells you the skill you need to tame, provoke and steal from it.
  • Scrolls can be made only by a specialist inscriber. Insert each scroll type into the Paladin book.
  • You can cast from scrolls or the book
  • Gain training in this skill from the chivalry guildmaster who is located in the castle at Cork.
  • Instead of using reagents, a Paladin spell uses tithing points. Go to the Paladin Guildmaster and say 'tithe'.
The money you type in will be removed from your backpack. 1/10 of what you type in will be available as tithing points that are consumed when casting a Paladin spell.
You can only have a maximum of 3000 tithing points. Your CHARACTER gump under Virtue, shows you the number of tithing points.
You can also see the points in the Paladin spellbook.
