The idea for SQ was born in winter 2001 when OldnGrey and family were waiting to go into the cinema. After a period of development the game made it online and has undergone many changes since then. In early 2006 we changed the theme of the shard. We chose the ancient mythology of Ireland because it's so rich and can match Ultima Online very well. OldnGrey created the idea that he developed into the Sorceror's Quest. He is actually old AND grey and a proud parent of young adults, and loves driving cars.
The Sorceror's quest was returned to the internet towards the end of 2019, and will be carried forth for many years to come.
